We are so excited to announce the 2026 Roy Jr High Softball Team!! Remember that you are all rock stars and everyone did amazing. You didn't make it easy for us that's for sure. Remember that even if you didn't make it as a 9th grade, go tryout for the Roy High School in the spring!!

Mission and Vision Statement

As coaches of the Roy Jr Razorback Softball Team, our mission goes beyond wins and losses. We are here to help young athletes grow in confidence, character, and teamwork. Every practice and every game is an opportunity to teach life lessons—about commitment, communication, perseverance, and respect. We believe in leading with integrity, building a culture of support and accountability. Our goal is to help these girls develop into strong teammates, courageous competitors, and proud Razorbacks—on the field and in life.

Eligibility

To be a part of the Roy Jr High Softball team, the student-athlete must meet the eligibility requirements set by Weber School District. These requirements include student grades and citizenship.

Grades

Attain and maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or better for the previous quarter or a cumulative 2.0 G.P.A. computed from the four previous successive quarters (not semester) and receiving not more than one F for previous and current quarter. The printed report card will be the basis for determining eligibility.

Citizenship

Students participating in Roy Junior High sports would be eligible with one U, or one N and one U, or two N’s for the previous quarter and current quarter. Any other combination beyond this, a student would no longer be eligible for athletics. The printed report card will be the basis for determining eligibility.
