Prompt
Code in html, css, and javascript a self-contained, complete, and embeddable game with two levels for 6th grade students learning about Greek Mythology. Use this site for the Greek names and sculptural images: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Olympians Players will match the name of the Greek god with their functions and attributes (what they are the god or goddess of). Include an image of the Greek god. Avoid all Roman names to ensure students are not confused. Make the game have drag and drop action so the participant drags the god's name under the heading of the attribute. Include a picture of the god and the name on the card. Once the player drags all cards to the correct matching locations, provide a fireworks celebration for 5 seconds and then launch level 2. For the level 2 game, use this site: https://greekgodsandgoddesses.net/gods/ including the lesser gods and goddesses. In level 2, change the game to create a game in which the game reveals the name of a god or goddess with four options for attributes. If the player clicks or taps the correct attribute, play a trumpet fanfare and present the next card. When the player matches 20 gods with their attributes the player wins. Show a scoreboard on level 2. Set a timer for 20 seconds to match the cards. At the end of the game, when the player has 20 matches, play a fanfare and show a confetti celebration.
Iteration
The images on the level 1 game are not working well. Can you use the images at this site for the pictures on the drag and drop cards: https://www.greekmythology.com/Olympians/olympians.html Also, the level 2 game is too repetitive. Can you randomize the content and include more gods and goddesses with more random content so as not to repeat any during level 2?
Iteration 2
The images are still not working well. Can you replace the images of the gods with their symbols: Zeus - lightning bolt, Hera - peacock, Artemis the moon, Aphrodite - swan, Hermes - caduceus or winged sandal, Dionysys - grapes, Apollo - lyre, Demeter - grain, Poseidon - trident, Ares - vulture, Athena - owl, Hephaestus - hammer.
Iteration 3
Remove Dionysus and replace him with Hestia, goddess of hearth and home. The images are still not correct. Let's change the draggable cards to solid navy blue color with the gods' and goddesses' names in a legible gold font surrounded by a gold circle. Ensure that the text is readable and fits in the circle. Reduce the size of the drop zones to fit both the draggable cards and the drop zones better on one screen.
Iteration 4
Adjust the size of the fonts for Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hephaestus to make them fit on the card without touching the circle border. Randomize each level one game to move the gods and their attributes to different locations for non-repetitive game play.
Iteration 5
Hephaestus's font size is still too large. Reduce it slightly on his card.
Iteration 6
Randomize the choices on each card for level 2 so that the options appear in different places to ensure non-repetitive game play.
