Pythagorean Theorem Practice

I can use pythagorean theorem to determine unknown side lengths in real world and math problems. (8.G.7)

Agenda:

Task 1: Using pythagorean theorem to find distance (edpuzzle)

Task 2: Distance between two points (Khan- must be signed in to account)

Task 3: Legend of Zelda Pythagorean Theorem

a. Sketch each triangle for each level

b. Show work for each level as well

Task 1: Taco stand Desmos Activity

a. Draw each slide (a sketch of the right triangle(s) with lengths), write out work you are planning on plugging into the calculator so I can follow what you did.

b. It will automatically submit, send a pic of work

I am available to zoom should you need some help with this activity. Also feel free to talk to classmates as you can work together on zoom on this.

1. Task 1: Assignments Check IN

• Log into infinite campus
• Look at assignments for math class
• For any missings/ 0s/ incomplete ...
  • In your spiral create a TO DO list...
    • Date of assignment (this will help you find links on here)
    • Name of Assignment
    • Current Status (missing, 2.5/10 incomplete, etc.)

Task 2: Complete To DO List of Assignments

a. Write name of assignment in spiral

b. Use the date of assignment to find the link on here

c. Complete assignment and send email of what you did to me

PSA: For all videos be sure to write down all the guided examples in SPIRAL (must have notes- he writes it you write it)
