Information About Applying to The WiCC:
Most NH students start CTE programs as juniors, some as sophomores and seniors
Students who apply by the end of February (majority) are considered for placement first, but applications are considered on a space-available basis up to the start of the new school year
Current juniors are urged to apply, as we have allocated extra seats for them in 2025/26
All students attending or living in the region associated with the following high schools are eligible to apply:
Belmont / Franklin / Gilford / Inter-Lakes / Laconia / Merrimack Valley / Newfound Regional / Winnisquam Regional // (including area charter, private and homeschool students).
How much does it cost, and how does transportation work?
The State of NH and home districts sponsor the cost so families pay no tuition. Bus transportation is also covered. Driving a personal vehicle requires home school permission and is not allowed in some schools. Some programs suggest that students purchase a small amount of professional equipment (tools) for the program. Assistance is available.
