Building on a 30 Year Tradition
The Winnisquam Career Center has been connecting students to their career passions and ambitions since first opening its doors as the Winnisquam Ag Center in 1972. The center currently is undergoing a $10.9M building renovation that expands and modernizes classroom, shop and lab spaces. The new center will be open for the 2025-26 school year and will feature a full-sized greenhouse, a professionally designed cosmetology salon and a state-of-the-art fabrication laboratory (Fab Lab) where students can use gas and arc welders, plasma cutters, milling machines and lathes to create precise industrial and artistic products.
The center also is offering an exciting new lineup of career and technical educations programs that includes:
Design, Create & Fabricate (with machining and welding)
Each of these 21st century CTE programs is designed to connect regional students to technical skills, industry and postsecondary credentials and regional employment opportunities.
