Athletes, Opioids & Addiction with Dr. Ruth Potee

The Northwest District Attorney was proud to present addiction specialist Dr. Ruth Potee, who describes how and why it is important to reduce or eliminate the use of opioids in treating sports injuries in "Athletes, Opioids & Addiction." A 17-minute video produced in consultation with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association, it is being shown at area high schools to student athletes, parents and coaches and on local community access TV stations.

Vaping, Marijuana, and the Effects on the Adolescent Brain with Dr. Ruth Potee

In a visit to the O’Maley Innovation Middle School Dr. Potee gave an informational talk to the students about addiction and effects of drug use on the adolescent brain.
