This manual support the teaching of restorative practices and skills in the classroom. Restorative Practices are a framework for building community and for responding to challenging behavior.
This manual will help you to hold restorative circles in your classrooms, and provides you with step by step instructions and a variety of optional circles you can lead in the classroom.

Developmental Assets are 40 research based, positive experiences and qualities that can have an influence on the development of children/youth. These assets help them to build resiliency skills, empathy skills and the tools to become responsible and productive adults.
Youth who are found to have the most assets tend to; do well in school, more involved and engaged in the community that they live and value the diversity in our society. They tend to have the least problems with alcohol use, violence, drug use and sexual activity.
