Create a slides presentation to review and analyse why it is important to create and maintain a safe, inclusive teaching and learning environment. Focus on the following:

• a) Review key features and benefits of an inclusive learning environment.

• b) Explain why it is important to promote appropriate behaviour and respect.

• c) Discuss theories of behaviour management.

• d) Analyse ways to promote equality and value diversity in your own teaching.

• e) Review strategies for effective liaison between professionals involved in inclusive practice.

• Your presentation will be published on the DET website.

10:45-12:00 Assignment (2) Task 5 Minimum Core: PRESENT YOUR TASK

Provide 5 examples from your own practice where the minimum core is embedded in planning and delivery. Analyse and identify opportunities to improve these to meet learner needs and create a more inclusive teaching and learning environment. Share your findings with your peers. AC Unit 2 / 7.1, 7.2
