Create a slides presentation to review and analyse why it is important to create and maintain a safe, inclusive teaching and learning environment. Focus on the following:
a) Review key features and benefits of an inclusive learning environment.
b) Explain why it is important to promote appropriate behaviour and respect.
c) Discuss theories of behaviour management.
d) Analyse ways to promote equality and value diversity in your own teaching.
e) Review strategies for effective liaison between professionals involved in inclusive practice.
Your presentation will be published on the DET website.
10:45-12:00 Assignment (2) Task 5 Minimum Core: PRESENT YOUR TASK
Provide 5 examples from your own practice where the minimum core is embedded in planning and delivery. Analyse and identify opportunities to improve these to meet learner needs and create a more inclusive teaching and learning environment. Share your findings with your peers. AC Unit 2 / 7.1, 7.2
