Congratulations to the Beach girls basketball team on a great 37-16 win over Bellport. Points were scored by Gianna Lanteri ,Daniella Tofano, Rosie Scavo, Maddie Rush, Hadley Grover, Lena Okurowki, and Lyla Bartling. It was a great team effort!
Yesterday the boys volleyball team defeated Finley by a score of 3 sets to 2. Two long serving streaks by Danny Galasso and Anthony Henderson along with stellar play by Sam Basini helped lead the Lions to another victory. Great teamwork was displayed by all members!

The West Islip School District is coordinating with Assemblyman Durso's office through April 5th for a Pet Food Drive. Donate pet food today to help more pets stay at home with their families and out of shelters. All pet food must be unopened and in its original packaging. Opened bags, ripped bags or loose pet food will not be accepted. Best size to donate: 5 or 10 pound bags of dog food and cat food. Canned food, kitty litter and new pet toys. Don't forget hamsters, fish and ferrets too! Donations for all types of pets are accepted. Donations can be dropped off in the bin in the main lobby through April 5th. Thank you for your support of this year's Pet Food Drive.

Mrs. Pope and Mrs. Miller would like to congratulate all of the Science Olympiad members! You have put in incredible effort, dedication, and hard work. Most of you were new to Science Olympiads this year and Each of you should feel successful in all your accomplishments from Sunday.
We took 19th place overall out of the teams competing from Eastern Long Island! This is a great accomplishment! Sebastian Stasi and Caleb Smith raked 8th in fossils and Riley Kenefick and Annabelle Saccente will be receiving a THIRD place medal for wheeled vehicle. Dynamic Planet, Optics, Write it Do it, Air Trajectory, and Flight also placed within the top 15 for their category! Fantastic job!

Beach Street Lions Sports News:
Last Friday night the boys volleyball team defeated Candlewood middle school by a score of 3 sets to 2. It was all tied up 2-2 going into the 5th set and the Lions persevered coming back from an 8- point deficit to win the set 26-24 and ultimately win the game. Everyone displayed great teamwork and played a great game.
