Attention girls soccer team: 

Just a reminder from Coach Reilly that we have a home game today at 5pm against Islip. Players that don't go home can wait at the after school supervision. Any players that go home can report back to Beach dressed at 3:50pm. 

Get ready to Dance! The 7th and 8th grade dance is happening on Friday Oct. 24th, tickets are $10 and can be purchased on MySchoolBucks through OCt. 23rd. Don't miss out!

The West Islip girls Varsity gymnastics team versed Patchogue Medford yesterday, winning 165 to 162. Kristen Messina and Anna Hall helped the team to victory on balance beam and floor exercise with beautiful routines. Great job girls! Keep up the hard work. Next competition is on October 17th against William Floyd. Come cheer on WIVG and wear pink to support breast cancer! See you there! 

The cross country team had their fourth race of the season, taking on Brentwood in their first 1.5 mile race.  The team came away with a dominant victory, winning 19 to 40.   Morgan Grover was the top Beach Street finisher in 7th, contributing valuable points to the team. Joey Nolan, Alessandro Perino, Nate Stocker, Zach Melengic, and Logan Melengic all ran bests in the race.  The team is back in action for the Modified Championships at Sunken Meadow next week.  Great job Lions!

The girls Tennis team won another game in dominate fashion by beating Copiague by a score of 7-0!  Brynn Ehlers won her singles match by a score of 4-0 & 4-0.  Amelia Sullivan, Nella Higgins, Katie Kelly, Iris Loudon and Ava Lupo all won their doubles matches.  Come on down and cheer on the girls today as they will face a tough Lindenhurst team at the Udall tennis courts @ 5:00 PM!
