An Integrated Approach to Individual Student Planning
The following were our district goals for the 2024-2025 School Year -
The 24-25 school year was IMPLEMENTATION YEAR 1
GOAL: By the end of 2024-2025, we will increase the percentage of 9-12th grade students who will develop a career goal from 1% to 90%.
GOAL: By the end of 24-25, we will increase the percentage of 9-12th grade students who will pass the TSIA from 62% to 70%.
GOAL: By the end of the 24-25 school year, we will increase the number of students who believe they are in a positive school climate from 54% to 60%.
GOAL: By the end of the 24-25 school year the number of students who will apply for Financial Aid will increase from 50% to 85%.
The main goal = GETTING THE WORD OUT!
YEAR ONE:
--> District/Campus Leadership: District lead will present at the principal's meeting
--> Support Staff: EAF representatives will present about the EAF grant to counselors, social workers, and LPCs at the monthly Student Support Meeting.
--> Campus Staff: EAF representatives and/or administrators will share the EAF informational video and push card to staff.
--> Community: Public relations will share push card to community through Weslaco ISD social media platforms. Push cards will also be shared during community events (i.e. Alfresco Nights)
