Well done to the students who received a Learner Profile postcard delivered last Friday. These postcards are designed to celebrate attributes like caring, open-minded, principled and risk-taker. Our goal is to recognise and encourage the character development that is so crucial for success in school and in life. There are a total of ten to collect. We encourage parents to celebrate with their child if students bring these postcards home during the term.
Meet our European Languages Ambassadors who are promoting the vibrant cultures and global reach of languages like Spanish and French in the school community. Look out for their two exciting initiatives: a new European Languages Magazine featuring cultural recipes and tips, and a plan to decorate the Languages Corridor with engaging, culturally-rich displays. Let's support their work.
The beginning of the collection for this year's Box of Hope has seen hearty and enthusiastic preparation. Your support is heartwarming for children aged 12 to 15 across Asia.
We appreciate the effort students and families have put into selecting and packing items. Please see details here.
A friendly reminder that the donation collection period is until Monday, 10 November.
Two students from our High Performance Student Athlete Programme (HPSAP) achieved outstanding sporting outcomes.
Year 12 student Haidi won double gold at the Asian U23 Fencing Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She claimed the individual champion title and the team champion title. The team victory was especially historic, as it was the first time a champion was crowned in the women's épée team event at this specific competition.
Anya has been selected for the Hong Kong Equestrian Team’s Youth Squad. She recently took part in the opening event for the Pokfulam Public Riding School. During the event, she attended a press conference and interviews and performed a riding presentation.
Well done to Anya for sharing her passion with the local community.
October has been a month for promoting mental health awareness!
Our enthusiastic students took part in the poetry competition organised by Mind HK, submitting poems about receiving support and seeking help to overcome challenges. The winners will be announced in the coming weeks.
Mind HK is a mental health non-profit dedicated to improving understanding and access to mental health resources in Hong Kong. When life feels heavy, it's easy to lose sight of the strength we already hold. The 70/30 principle reminds us that while 70% comes from within, sometimes the final 30% - a listener, a friend, a counsellor, a parent, a teacher, a voice that says 'I'm here' - is exactly what we need.
A consideration of contribution through this donation link will help reduce stigma and build a more compassionate community.
Spread holiday cheer with the PTA's beautiful Christmas cards!
Featuring unique designs, the cards are now available for HK$250 per pack, with discounts offered for multiple purchases. The funds raised will go toward supporting important school initiatives and programmes. Order via this link.
We warmly invite Year 11 parents to our Post-16 Options Afternoon to explore options for the IBDP, IBCP, and Engineering Programme. Meet our teachers to discuss course structures and how to best prepare your child for future success in higher education and beyond.
