Dynasty Highlights

Student Leadership Newsletter

WISMUN V

Last weekend, 63 WIS delegates joined 250 students from 18 schools at our fifth annual Model United Nations Conference. Over two days, delegates debated global issues, heard from inspiring speakers and built connections.

Congratulations to our award winners - Prabhjas (Year 9), Kaden (Year 10) and Nikaash (Year 12). Thanks to our incredible secretariat members: Hana, Kayle, Prisha, Ridhima, Aastha, Keira, Michael, Madelyn, Jeffrey and Gianni, for making WISMUN V a resounding success.

WIS Artists at ESF Art Exhibition

Nine talented WIS student artists from Years 7 to 9 showcased their creativity at the ESF Art Exhibition 2025. Their artworks explored powerful themes of connection, resilience, identity, and time, all centered around the overarching theme of Generations.

Congratulations to our wonderful artists: Bianca, Claire, Colin, Ethan, Lizzy, Maya, Rylee, Sylvia and Wendy. Thank you to everyone who attended the exhibition and supported our students' artistic journeys.

Rock Mob

This week’s Rob Mob brought the noise and joy to our lunchtimes. The powerful wall of sounds from our drummers, guitarists, singers and keyboard players made our auditorium come alive again. It was energetic, and it was full of talent. A huge shoutout to all the students who took part with their enthusiasm and musical spirit. Thank you to everyone who came by to listen, cheer and support our performers.

School Musical Audition

WIS Circle in the Water invites students to audition for our upcoming school musical Into the Woods Jr.

We are seeking talented actors, singers, and dancers of all ages and experience levels. If you are passionate about storytelling and performing, we would love to see you on stage. Please find the details in the audition form and submit your audition video before 1 August 2025.

Blood Drive

Our Blood Drive on Monday collected 77 successful donations. A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to making a meaningful difference in our community. Well done to our Year 12 CAS Ambassador Team - Nami, Mina, Jonathan, Karsten and Alegra - for helping to organise this event.

Young Geographer of the Year

The Royal Geographical Society - Hong Kong has announced that Reet, our Year 8 student, has won the People's Choice Award for the 2025 Young Geographer of the Year. Well done, Reet!

WIS Sports

Celebration of Outstanding Participation

We are thrilled to share that our students showed outstanding participation in this year’s sports programme, and their hard work paid off with incredible results. From teamwork to triumphs, they’ve truly made us proud. Let’s keep the momentum going.

Hockey: From WIS to Team HK

Year 10 students Gwyneth and Eloisa have been selected to represent the Hong Kong U15 team in a 5-a-side hockey tournament in China. Congratulations to Gwyneth and Eloisa on this fantastic achievement!

Fitness Challenge

Congratulations to the Year 7 to 10 students who achieved outstanding results in the PHE cardiovascular run and multistage shuttle run.

Years 8-10 Textile & Design

Years 8 and 9 proudly modelled their creative designs. Year 10 Textile Design students went on a Fashion & Textile trip to this year’s Hong Kong PolyU Graduate Fashion Show. The cutting-edge fashion designs, artwork exhibited and innovation inspired our students' creative thinking.

Year 9 ESF Limitless Programme

After six enriching weeks in rural Queensland, our Year 9 students who participated in the ESF Limitless Programme returned with unforgettable memories, strengthened values, and a renewed spirit of service. Discover their inspiring stories on the Limitless Blog.

Year 12 IBCP Spanish

Year 12 IBCP students enjoyed an exciting cooking session as part of their language development programme. Each student prepared a dish linked to their research, writing recipes in their target language. Their hands-on experience enhanced language skills, teamwork and creativity, culminating in a joyful sharing session that celebrated their culinary and linguistic achievements.

Year 12 Academic Excellence

Congratulations to our Year 12 students who received academic prizes for their most accomplished subjects. We can't wait to see where their passion and talent will take them as they enter Year 13 this August.

Graduates Formal: Years 11 & 13

We proudly celebrated our Year 13 graduates in May and Year 11 students in June with two remarkable formal evenings. Both events honoured our students’ achievements and journeys, filled with joy and lasting memories.

CAS Corner

Rock School Performances

Rock School students wrapped up their CAS activity on a high note at The Wanch on Sunday. Well done to our students for bringing their learning to life and showcasing their passion for music beyond the classroom.

CAS Activities 2025-2026

A wide range of CAS activities will be available in Term 1:

Project Kart: This unique go-kart initiative continues, welcoming students from Years 10 to 13 to refine and develop their practical and transferable skills.
Baking Maniac: No travel needed—our experienced instructor will lead sessions in the school’s food tech room, allowing you to focus entirely on your baking craft.
Lion Dance: Join rehearsals for performances during Lunar New Year celebrations and other exciting events.

Mental Health Support

We care about the wellbeing of our students and their families. If any student needs support with their mental health over the summer break, there are several organisations in Hong Kong that can offer assistance. Please refer to the flyer for contact details.
