7 days- Marine Conservation Koh Tao Thailand.pdf

This is a new addition to our Horizons Week programme and is a trip that has proved popular with other ESF schools.

The outcomes of this trip are directly linked to the Y9 Project Based Learning (PBL) curriculum that students will be studying at the time Horizons Week takes place. In Term 1 of Year 9 they will be inquiring into the question: 'Is there a problem with plastic?' and this is a rare opportunity to authentically engage with their classroom learning and the Sustainable Development Goals in a real world context by participating in meaningful service. As well as constructing artificial reefs and completing data collection, students will enjoy snorkelling in the stunning azure waters off Koh Tao.

Please see the brochure for further details. Note that the itinerary will be adapted depending on our flight schedule. Students will fly to Koh Samui then take a catamaran to Koh Tao.

Note: you should be a proficient swimmer to attend this trip
