The Academy of Global Studies is a progressive school that continues to strengthen already existing partnerships as well as to create new ones. We are proud to be partnered with the following organizations to provide as many opportunities to our students and staff as possible.
One of several United States Cultural Exchange Programs with the goal of improving intercultural relations, cultural diplomacy, and intercultural competence between Americans and people from other countries through the exchange of people, knowledge, and skills. Teachers in the Academy of Global Studies have been through rigorous PD which has resulted from the global education platform provided by Fulbright. AGS is also proud to have two of its staff members be Fulbright Alumni.
The World Affairs Councils of America is an independent, nonpartisan organization dedicated to engaging the public and leading global voices in order to better understand the world, America's international role, and the policy decisions that affect our daily lives and future. The Academy of Global Studies is proud to partner with the World Affairs Council in order to provide global opportunities, speakers, and experiences for our students.
AFS-USA is the largest partner in a worldwide network of non-profit, volunteer-based international organizations. AGS is proud to be a partner with AFS and is networked with global educators and students across the country to promote global education at the local and state levels.
In 2008 Neusole Glassworks became part of the John J. Schiff III Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not for profit private operating foundation. The Academy of Global Studies is happy to be partnered with Neusole to provide glass-blowing opportunities for the students who take Pre-Calculus Aligned Physics.
The Academy of Global Studies is honored to be partnered with Cincinnati State to offer multiple College Credit Plus Classes taught at the high school by dual certified teachers. Students have the ability to take CCP Leadership during global seminar their senior year and have the ability to earn up to 14 college credit hours in math.
The Academy of Global Studies is proud to partner with the University of Cincinnati's Engineering Department. Students who take Pre-Calculus Aligned Physics in AGS connect with engineering students and professors from the School of Engineering during their projects throughout the school year.
