Reflection:

I could have choose any one of the assignments that I completed in this course as my signature assignment because I truly believe that each one has helped me grow as a professional educator. Although, the one I choose "Using Social Media to Find and Curate Resources" will help me continue to grow even after the IEC Cohort is over. I was honestly amazed at the responses that I have received from my brief interactions on Twitter. One, people actually help! For no reason at all, but to offer their assistance. The Twitter community truly believes in #bettertogether, which I believe in as well. We are in one of the most challenging professions and need the support of one another. It is sad that we do not always get it at our own sites from our colleagues, but their is another community of educators from all over that are willing to step in and provide support.

As I explored Twitter, I found so many great resources and ideas. After I created this post, our cohort had the opportunity to participate in a Twitter Chat, which I actually found fun! At first, it took me time to figure out what I was doing , but once I got the hang of it, I was good to go.

All in all, I decided to choose this as my signature assignment because I thing that this is the resource that will continue to help me develop professionally.
