A major concept that I learned in the Project Based Learning course is that it is really important to make the concept or idea that you are inquiring about relevant for the student and that you provide an authentic audience to view their work. I plan on integrating this concept into my teaching by rally thinking what type of final product I would like them to have at the end of any given unit. I would also need to take into consideration as to how I can facilitate students having an authentic audience. I think this will be something that may time to implement, but I will definitely be working on doing so.

The proposed integration will benefit myself and my learner in many ways. For myself, I will not constantly have to "sell" whatever I am teaching about, students will have buy in to the outcome because it will have relevance to them and they will feel that they have a purpose in the projects. It will benefit students because they will have a choice in how they showcase their learning.

I think the best way to evaluate success in implementing project based learning is to look at the projects students create and how well it displays their findings. I also believe that we should really consider student voice and have them write reflections throughout the process so we know what areas we can make improvements in from the perspective of someone who is completing the task.
