The Missouri Option Program is a state certified program that provides students with an alternative path for earning a high school diploma. Students in this program earn their diploma by completing specific courses and passing the HiSET exam.
Students in the Missouri Option program typically attend WHS for half a day to work on required credits and prep for the HiSET test.
To earn a high school diploma through the Missouri Option Program students must meet the following requirements:
Complete the required courses listed below.
Take the End of Course exams for English 2, Algebra 1, Government, and Biology
Pass the MO & US Constitution Tests, the Civics test, and CPR training
Take a DESE approved required college prep test (ACT, Accuplacer, ASVAB)
Pass all sections of the HiSET Test

Algebra I
Biology
0.5 Personal Finance
0.5 Health
Students who complete the Missouri Option Program cannot receive their high school diploma until their cohort class graduates.
