Windsor High School is committed to providing flexible learning opportunities while maintaining high expectations for academic success. There are a variety of options for students to choose from, depending on their grade level and/or wants or needs.
Incoming Freshmen (Class of 2030) and Incoming Sophomores (Class of 2029)
Students may enroll in one (1) virtual course only per semester. The course will be completed during the assigned class period in a supervised lab at Windsor High School. A staff member will supervise the lab period; however, the virtual instructor of record (if applicable) will provide course instruction, grading, and content support. Students must remain in the assigned lab for the full class period and abide by all school policies, procedures, and protocols outlined in the student handbook.
Incoming Juniors (Class of 2028) and Incoming Seniors (Class of 2027)
Students may choose to take virtual courses in one of the following ways:
Completely Virtual Option: Students will still be considered a Windsor student, but will complete their virtual courses at home. Please note that not all virtual courses can be completed at home. Check the virtual course offerings here to see which ones are eligible to be taken in a virtual only setting.
Blending Learning Option: Students who choose this option can take virtual courses in the following ways...
Take some virtual classes at home/off campus
Take some virtual classes in a lab on campus
Take some in-seat classes
Students who are arriving to campus later and/or leaving campus early MUST provide their own transportation.
