Daily reading is not only a good habit, but it can also be tons of fun! Reading has many forms: reading to your child, reading with your child, independent reading, reading the pictures in a book, listening to an audiobook, watching a video of a book read aloud.

Recipe to make a Writer
Grab a basket, throw in some pens, pencils, crayons, a pair of scissors and some tape. Add paper, with or without lines, and a stapler. Your home is now ready for writer's workshop. Go ahead, write a little note for your kids and put them under their pillows. You just might start a summer of writing.
