Speech and Language Practice-
Monday- Play a game with your child and target turn taking
Tuesday- Read a Book with your child and identify actions
Wednesday- Play a game with your child and track your partner and or shared object with your eyes
Thursday- Read a Book with your child and identify common objects and people
Friday- Play with your child with action figures or stuffed animals and have your child reciprocate a greeting with a wave, verbal approximation, verbalization, picture icon and/or select appropriate icon on communication device.
Speech and Language Practice- Language Groups
Monday- Hold a conversation and complete 5 back and forth exchanges (each exchange would include a question and/or answer response) while maintaining topic.
Tuesday- Read a book and retell the sequence of events using complete sentences.
Wednesday- Play a game and target pronouns
Thursday- Read a Book and respond to who, what and where questions.
Friday- Have your child make up a story using complete sentences with a beginning, middle and end.
Speech and Language Practice-Pragmatic Language Groups
Monday- Hold a conversation and complete 5 back and forth exchanges (each exchange would include a question and/or answer response) while maintaining topic.
Tuesday- Have your child formulate 5 questions to ask you about your day and then have them respond to 5 questions about their day.
Wednesday- Read a book with your child and have them make predictions as to what they think may happen next.
Thursday- Have your child watch a show and pick a character and then ask them to identify how that character is feeling and why.
Friday- Read a book with your child and have them identify the problem/ conflict and solution and then ask them how they would have resolved the problem if it had happened to them.
Speech and Language Practice- Articulation
Directions: Have your child come up with 10 words that start or end with the _______ sound/s. Each day, have them complete the assigned task. At the end of the week, create a new list of 10 words and start again.
