With much thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Karon McGovern, English Teacher, New Fairfield High School

/

Welcome to class... although more appropriately is should be called a conversation, a discussion, or an exchange of ideas. Of course, there is a curriculum and content we will cover, but the emphasis is on WE (meaning all of us) not just an I (focusing on just Mrs. B and Mrs. M). This is a course of interaction, of explanation, and dialogue. As a result, it is unlike many of the courses you have take thus far.

That being said, the course is a little like US History, a little like Current Issues, a little like American Literature___________. But mostly, it is about questions we all have, find some answers (or a beginning of an answer...) and above all, sharing what you find. Here are the ways we can communicate:

Remind: students, parents, etc. can/should subscribe. This is were the information will be passed if we don't have class, but need to tell you something. Not class discussions, but useful bits.
Remind code: @76k842

email: students, parents, etc. can/should use our emails for private conversation about a student.
