For your final exam, there are 3 parts:
1. Write a document-based essay on the Middle East. We will plan the essay and look at the documents on June 7, and write it in class on June 9. 50%
2. Take a 70 question Multiple Choice geography test on exam day. You received the material to review the day after Memorial Day. 30%
3. Plan and create a game based on one the themes we have been studying all year. The criteria is
described below. 20%
The game
- In groups of 3 or 4, complete the following tasks:
- Choose an existing game to mimic the rules, game board and game goals.
- Convert that game's theme to the one you were assigned in class.
- Pictures, images, questions, game pieces, etc. should change.
- minimum 30 questions about the theme should be part of the game.
- You can plan for the game and any materials you will need between 6/7/17 when you get your assignment and exam day, but actually creating the game must be done in class on the exam day.

- Participation (I will scan the class at regular intervals to ensure if students are on task or not)
- Completion
- Creativity, Neatness and Organization
- Adherence to Theme
- Peer Review/"Playability" of the Game
