The WUSD Teacher Induction program offers two alternative Induction pathways for candidates who demonstrate advanced skills and leadership or have already been an exceptional teacher of record for three years or more.
Tier II candidates take the knowledge gained in the Individual Learning Plan to advanced levels in the deep reflection of their teaching practice to chart their own paths of research, discovery, and innovation. Each Tier II journey is as unique as the individual, as candidates demonstrating strong work ethic and dedication to their teaching build upon strengths and pursue passions.
The ultimate goal of the Tier II candidate is to create a professional learning experience that significantly impacts their own practice and that of the larger educational community.
