Syllabus Mrs. Hom‐ Mandell Rm.2
Course Description: This course is designed for students interested in a focused experience in ceramics. Students will work with clay using a variety of hand building techniques, as well as learning how to use the potter‘s wheel to form vessels, explore surface decoration and glazing techniques.
Students will be graded on the following: Attendance, Clean‐up, Effort & Citizenship: 40% Projects: and research HW 60 %
Requirements: Ready to learn attitude. ARTSTRONG mindset
Attendance policy: According to WPS policy, three unexcused tardies equal an absence, and five or more absences per term equals an N or incomplete.
