By Angela Brodsky, MA
USG eCampus
According to Quality Matter (QM) standards, instructional materials should be selected because they enable learners to achieve the stated learning outcomes and course objectives. This includes all textbooks, publisher or open source resources/tools, multimedia, and websites. Students should be able to clearly understand how the material relates to the stated objectives. Instructional materials should also flow well with the rest of the course.
