"The Competency Dashboard allows students and teachers to track progress through the competency-based portfolio model. At any time, any teacher can submit evidence of progress for any competency for any student. Each instance of evidence is called a demonstration of learning and can include skill ratings for multiple competencies across multiple competency areas." - Building 21
