Another issue with traditional system is what happens to student work. It usually is glanced at and thrown in the trash. Portfolios are bodies of work collected across subject areas so YOU can see YOUR growth over time!

Think of it like a video game. For each level, you do challenges. As you do those challenges, your skill increases. You get to a new level and the challenges get more difficult. You tackle until you win the game!
