In this stepping stone, we will explain the portfolio model of Competency-Based Education.
As a teacher in this model, I need to explain what the portfolio model is to students, parents, and community members and how students navigate within it.

At Eagle and Meridian Academies, we have 4 portfolios (bodies of work we collect). Each of these portfolios have a minimum number of required evidences (boxes) AND the score the evidence needs to hit (up at top of Road map). This can be seen in what we call Road maps. Take a look at them below.

Portfolio 1 does not mean 9th grade or freshmen year. It means the first collection of evidence.
