Gov. Jared Polis issued an executive order that suspends in-person instruction at all schools from March 23rd to April 30th.

Distance learning will resume next week after spring break and continue at least until April 30th.

Acknowledgements:

  • Students from Nucla High School met the wild mustang herds at the Disappointment Valley Mustang Sanctuary. TJ Holmes, (pictured on right) shared with students her 16 years of experience documenting the Spring Creek Basin Wild Mustang Herd and her innovative partnership with the BLM for a sustainable and humane model of herd management which could be replicated for other wild horse herds across the West. This activity was made possible by Erin Cain of Grace Reins.
