FYI - Norovirus is a very contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea. It is the virus that shut down Mesa County schools prior to the Thanksgiving break, and it has made its way to Norwood. If your child shows signs of Norovirus please keep them home.

Acknowledgements

  • Congratulations to NHS students, Morgan Weimer and Saphire Connelly! These two ladies competed in the FFA District 2 Creed Speaking Competition in Delta. Morgan came home with a silver and Saphire brought home a gold and took 2nd overall out of 18 contestants.
  • Congratulations to the City Bots, NES Lego League Team! They placed first in robot design and placed second overall in the robot competition at the Durango meet and have qualified for the state competition in Denver! Team members are Rachel Beard, Alana Goforth, McKenna Johannsen, Drake Richardason, Tennessee Richardson, Mylee Ralstin, Kyra Redd, and Trey Wagler. Team Coach is Mrs. Stacie Narramore.
