International Day
Every year, Wells International School has a international day to emphasize on the unity of the world and the overall acceptance of diverse cultures. During this day, all school clubs and some classes set up booths to represent a specific country and raise funds for charity. On November 8, 2022, I was also responsible to set up and handle 3 booths. The booths I had set up were the Performing Arts Club booth, Model United Nations (MUN) club booth, and the Class of 2024 IB Computer Science booth. Handling 3 booths on the same day was challenging yet an equally surreal learning experience.

On our yearly school international day, as one of the leaders of the Performing Arts Club I was responsible to set up a booth alongside my other two fellow Performing Arts Club leaders. The country we were representing for this booth was Greece. Our activity for this booth was throwing rings on cones with unique Greek names on it. We charged a entry fee of THB 20 and gave out candy as prizes. Our goal from this booth was to make students aware about the Wells Performing Arts Club, and to raise money for charity. At the end of the day, we gained a profit of approximately THB 500 to give to a charity.

In our Model United Nations (MUN) club booth, we set up a game that portrayed all of the different cheese from all around the world. In this game the player had to point on a map while they are blindfolded, and then we would give them the cheese from that place. Our club advisor Ms. Nikki Willholt and all of the members of Wells MUN all put immense amounts of efforts to make this booth possible and it was a challenging yet rewarding experience.

For our Computer Science class, it is tradition to hold a booth for international day, so we decided to do it again this year. We were selling unique flavors of smoothie that included incredients barley, blueberries, etc. We had trouble having people come up for their allocated shifts to take care of the booth, and we had trouble deciding what items we would have to put on the menu, as our teacher had a strict "no sugar policy". In the end, we donated all the money we made to charity which made it all a delightful experience.
