On October 2020, my parents had starting a small Indian food and snacks business called Namkeenz & More. Namkeenz & More operates as a cloud kitchen to this day with orders coming in from all over Bangkok. On September 3, 2022, a fair for the Indian festival Ganesh Chathurthi was held. In this fair, Namkeenz & More had also held a booth where they were selling numerous mouth-watering dishes like Pani Puri, Peri Peri Pizza, Samosa, Kachori, and Beetroot Kebab. In this booth, I was responsible to bring ingredients from home when the inventory was finishing, and to help prepare the Peri Peri Pizza's and the Pani Puri's to serve to the customers. This experience was quite challenging for me personally as preparing these dishes are difficult, as you have to be precise yet quick. This led to an environment with a lot of chaos that was difficult to deal with. Working collaboratively with my parents and planning how I would execute each dish was difficult as it was a lot of challenges to undertake at once, while also doing a service to my parents as I was working in this booth without getting paid.

On the 7th and 8th of November, the Concordian MUN conference was held. This was the first conference in about 2 years that was not online, therefore, every MUN delegate was thrilled about this. I was assigned as the delegate of China in The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC). The question assigned in this committee was "Addressing the Weaponization of Information in the Age of Globalization". I was quite nervous about this conference as it was only the second face to face MUN conference I had attended, and I hadn't attended a conference itself in over a year. At first, collaborating and working with the other delegates in my committee was challenging as a lot of the delegates were new, or hadn't attended a face to face conference in a long time. As time passed, it because easier to fit in and eventually recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

On the 4th of December 2022, I had participated the Amazing Thailand 5 kilometeres Run along with my friend. One day before the run, my friend and I had to go to get our registrations done, and we noticed over 1000 other people signing up just for 5K. I didn't expect these many people to also be participating in this run and I thought this was also just another small run. My friend and I had to figure out a lot of things for this run as we were underprepared for it. We were first confused about where the starting point of this run would be, where we would collect our t-shirts, and even what time the run would be in. After 1 hour of asking around, we had the answers to all these questions. We had to go to a place that is in the outskirts of Bangkok and the run would start at 5:30 AM and it would take approximately 1 hour to reach to the place. I was starting to regret my decision at first as I had to wake up at 4 in the morning on a Sunday! On the day of the run, we both reached the starting point and as I started to run I was doing fine, but later on I got more tired by the second. I hadn't run this much in a long time and I thought I wouldn't make it. In the last kilometer, I started to push through despite being extremely exhausted. Eventually. both my friend and I made it to the end and this was one of the best experiences of our life.
Running in the Park Every Week

Since August 2022 to halfway of 2023, I went to the park for a run at least once a week, usually on the weekend. The park I went to was Benchakitti Park in Asoke, and its one round was approximately 1.8 Kilometers. At first, due to lack of practice I had a hard time even completing one whole round, but overtime as I went I pushed myself and eventually finished 3 rounds(5.4 KM) easily. Even if I had a lot of homework for the weekends, I always tried to make time to go to the park for a run as it helped me relax my mind and feel good overall. Through this experience, I understood my own areas for growth, improved upon them until I could.

On December 2022, after our exams finish, we usually have a week dedicated to club workshops and numerous other creative activities. During this time, I attended a workshop by the 'Board Games Club' where a few of my peers and I had made a 300 piece puzzle. This puzzle took us approzimately 2 days to assemble, and it was a very frustrating yet memorable experience. Finding each piece and assembling it according to the reference picture given to us took a lot of time and effort but in the end when this puzzle was put together, we all were very pleased. During this time I learned that I need to develop my patience and stay more committed to the tasks at hand as no matter how tough it may get, the end is always satisfactory.

On the 28th of January 2022, I had attended the BKKMUN XXIX Conference held in Bangkok Patana International School. This was the fourth MUN conference I had been to, and I was the delegation of Pakistan in the Human Rights Committee. We were assigned "the question of war crimes carried out by the Taliban", which was a controversial yet insightful topic to debate upon. I engaged in a good amount of fruitful debate for to support my resolutions as Pakistan, and eventually my resolution paper had passed. I understood through this conference that my skills of collaborating with other delegates was improving and I started to truly enjoy the fruitful debate that took place.

On the 22nd of April, I had attended the MUN07 conference held in St.Andrews 107. This was the fifth MUN conference I had been to, and the last conference I attended in my MUN ventures of Grade 11. I was the delegation of the United States of America in the Human Rights Committee, and we were assigned "the question of the usage of hijabs and niqabs in a secular society". In this conference I started to recognize a lot of people from my past conferences, and had a great time collaborating with them. I started to give out strong opening points, and asked challenging POI's to all delegates in my committee. Additionally, this conference was quite successful as the resolution paper my alliances had created was passed while the other alliances didn't.

After the BKKMUN XXIX conference, I was told to write an article about the different experiences students had for this. It was quite challenging to gather all of the Wells delegates that attended this conference and make them write their specific experiences for me to reference in time, but eventually after everyone had written their feedback, I was able to smoothly write out the article. I wrote about the benefits of MUN and how it teacher students things that are beyong classroom material. This was a great experience as eventually I gained a lot of self respect when this article was released as I saw my name in the official wells website.

One of the highlights of my entire Grade 11 experience was being a leader of the Wells MUN Club alongside two of my peers, Sameer Gathia and Risa Takahashi. I was the Public Relations Manager for MUN, therefore I was responsible for constantly communicating with delegates, sending emails, and handling the official Wells MUN Instagram page. Along with teaching fellow young delegates how MUN works in our weekly Tuesday meetings, one of the biggest challenges I had in my leadership experience was handling the Instagram page. Most clubs are reccomended to do weekly posts, so I wanted to keep the MUN Instagram page up to date with this by posting weekly meetings, information on new committees, the benefits of MUN, tips on success for MUN, the conferences attended, and numerous other things. As an IB candidate, handling the immense amount of school work while making weekly posts in the Instagram page was very overwhelming and challenging. Despite this, I always stayed committed to making posts on unique things every week. I also always had to keep in mind that the posts I would make would be in the theme of MUN and show significance on global issues. In conclusion, I was very proud to grow the MUN Instagram page so well as this was the first time ever than an Instagram page for Wells MUN was created. I used my sense of creativity while doing all my tasks as a leader for the MUN club and helped save it from the brink of dissolving. Overall, being a leader and showing fellow young committed delegates the absolute beauty of debating was what made it a really pleasurable experience.

During Wells Without Walls, as a leader of Wells Rescued Glass, my fellow leaders and I had to plan an event to spread awareness and showcase the importance of Rescued Glass. To do this, we got the leader and founder of Rescued Glass, Manish Sethi to come to Wells as a guest speaker and do an interactive presentation for all the students. There was only about one week of planning involved in this event, so everything was mostly happening in the last minute. I was responsible for putting up the advertisements and announcements for this event, but we still didn't have too many people interested in attending. As we had already invited Manish Sethi for this event, we really needed a lot of people to attend this event, so during the day of the event I personally asked every high school teacher to bring their students to this event. Eventually, there was an attendance of approximately 50 people for this event. This was considered as a success as we didn't expect this turnaround too.

In my entire grade 11 experience, leading ‘Wells Rescued Glass’ was one of the most unique experiences I went through. I had never been in a club that was solely dedicated to an environmental issue, so being a leader of this club was quite challenging. Rescued Glass is an organization that was created solely for the focus of glass waste, but later on this club expanded to numerous different schools and became a business by itself. My two peers, Wiritpol Sayamipuk, and Sameer Gathia were leaders along with me for this club, and we held a serious responsibility to handle this club in the name of Wells. Personally, it was challenging for me to stay committed to this club while joining numerous other clubs, as there was a meeting that leaders from all schools around Thailand had to attend every Wednesday. Commiting to this and giving weekly reports on how the club is doing was challenging but an equally rigid learning experience. Along with this, as a leader I was also responsible for handling the wells rescued glass instagram page. I had to do weekly posts about something unique that matched with the theme of glass waste or the enivronment. Eventually, I helped the wells rescued glass instagram page grow from about 25 followers to 101 followers.

On April 2023, 15 students from wells participated in the World Economics Cup. This was the first time that Wells was participating in this competition. To provide context, this cup is in a series of events held in numerous different schools in different countries that hold tests relating to economics. We first had a mock test for this, and the next day we had the real entrance exam consisting of 80 multiple choice questions. This was very challenging as the majority of the topics shown in this exam were not something we learned in our economics class. Despite this, I did my best and ended up getting a distinction. Altough my team didn't make it through the next round, I still had a great time adapting to the sudden impromptu changes happening in during this cup.

Throughout my first year of IB and my grade 11 experience, I couldn't take the normal theater class or any performing arts class as there would be too many subjects for me. I then decided to continue being a leader of Theater Club which had been transformed to the 'Performing Arts Club'. I had two of my peers alongside me to lead this club, and altough we often needed to improve on having clearer goals, it was still a very fun experience. Every Wednesday we held a meeting were members were allowed to do anything creative and performing arts related. Some played the piano, some played the guitar, some did acting, and much more. During International Day, everyone thought of a booth relating to Greece and we made a profit of over 500 baht. Overall, altough much may not have been done in this club, it was still a very creative experience that I believe helped shape numerous young minds.
