So lately I've been very bored and I thought I should try to do something that would help me be abit more fit. Then I thought to myself why not set up a goal for walking/jogging, I was inspired by my grandfather who had walking goals e.g. " I need to walk 7500 steps today". I started this at july of 2023 atfirst it was very hard since I wasn't really used to walking and my goal back then was around 5000 steps on average but now my goal has change and is around 7500+ steps, So every month I try to walk at least 7500 steps on average of course there are months where I don't reach this goal but I've been consistently reaching this goal for 5 months now. From this activity I leanred to be a bit more diciplined and follow a routine.
The reason for October being very low is due to exams and IAs ( count was around 4878)
Students demonstrate regular involvement and active engagement in CAS.
The learning outcome of this CAS experience is outcome number 4 ( Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences), the reason for this is because I had to walk every day with a goal of 7500+ steps, often times I would push myself to go for higher and higher steps counts and I have to be very consistent and committed to this goal. Presently I am still doing this and am evaluating if I should push my goal to 8000 steps a day since I have consistently reach the 7500 goal. I try to take no cheat days or stop, but if something important came up I this will not be a high priority.
