Middle school science is engaging, challenging, and supportive. Students use science practices, apply reading strategies to nonfiction text, and develop their ability to use evidence and reasoning to support a claim.
Themes such as structure and function, energy and matter, cause and effect, and systems are found in all three grades. Each grade has specific content learning goals and science skills based on the Massachusetts State Science Frameworks and Wellesley Middle School Science Curriculum Guide.
Science classrooms are well equipped for scientific exploration. Student safety in the lab is always a priority.
