"As a senior, I have taken part in the Webster Thomas music department for 4 years. I have learned to grow so much as a musician and as a member of a community. Music helps build communication, knowledge, and emotional power. Being in a room with everyone who shares the same love and passion as you do is pretty special. Along with being a part of an awesome community, you also get so many performance and workshop opportunities. Each performance you do, you're sharing a piece of yourself to an audience through your music. Each workshop, you get an outside perspective that helps you build more knowledge as a growing musician, and you learn some really cool things."
