MUSIC PLUGGED IN
Music Plugged In is a full-year course designed to provide a wide range of musical experiences for students interested in combining current music technology with personal musicianship and career goals. Through the study of popular music from the early 20th century to today, students will learn about the composition of modern popular music within a lab environment. While building and refining basic skills in music theory and literacy, students will compose, arrange, and perform their own music using industry-standard software and equipment. During this course, students will be introduced to several careers in sound recording and music technology. The culmination of this course is a web-based portfolio showcasing each student's work.
