CONCERT BAND
Concert Band is open to all woodwind, brass, and percussion students in grades 9-12 who have previous band experience or who have obtained permission of the director. In Concert Band, students will continue to develop technical skills and musicianship on their individual instrument, and will perform music of many different styles. Attendance at all concerts and a weekly rotating lesson are required. Possible additional activities include exchange concerts, performing tours, and concerts at other district schools. Interested students are eligible to participate in All-County, Area All-State and All-State music festivals, Monroe County solo/ensemble festivals and NYSSMA solo/ensemble festivals.

WIND ENSEMBLE
WIND ENSEMBLE
Wind Ensemble is open to experienced band students in grades 9-12 who have been selected by audition. Wind Ensemble is intended for students who have a desire to achieve a high level of artistry and musicianship on their instrument, while building their music literacy and technical skills. Music performed in Wind Ensemble is selected from standard and contemporary band literature. Attendance at all concerts and a weekly rotating lesson are required. Possible additional activities include exchange concerts, performing tours, and concerts at other district schools. Interested students are encouraged to participate in All-County, Area All-State and All-State music festivals, Monroe County solo/ensemble festivals and NYSSMA solo/ensemble festivals.
