All Wake County Public Libraries cardholders can now access free, on-demand, online tutoring thanks to a new partnership with Tutor.com. This initiative offers students, parents and adult learners in Wake County access to personalized, expert help in a wide range of subjects, many in Spanish. 

The Khan Academy is a nonprofit with the mission to provide a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. Anyone can create a free account and access learning modules for every grade, level, and in most academic subjects. This site can be helpful as a one time tutorial on something a student (or parent) does not understand or it can be an ongoing place to move through applicable material to reinforce what a student is learning in school.
