Keyboarding

In this elective, students will learn to play the keyboard! Designed for students with no previous keyboard experience, this elective class will focus on the fundamentals.

Students will learn basic keyboard/piano playing technique, short melodies and accompaniments, as well as popular chord structure and progressions. We will be playing by sight and sound- students will be reading notation and explore with playing music by ear. In this class, students will have the opportunity to play as individuals and in an ensemble.
