Digital Music Making

In this elective, students will explore the world of digital music making! Through this elective, students will create their own music in both traditional and non traditional ways using websites and apps.

First and foremost, we will learn about being excellent digital citizens. Digital citizens are responsible, respectful, and safe when using technology and the internet. Students are expected to demonstrate excellent digital citizenship at all times.

Students will work through the creating process with website such as Chrome Music Lab, Noteflight, and Scratch. They will plan and create musical ideas, expand and develop those ideas, learn to evaluate and refine, and finally, present and reflect on the process. Students will leave this elective with a few finalized musical products.
