Over the course of the 20-21 year, our TGIF has truly collaborated to reach as many staff members with a variety of professional learning strategies. Our standard TGIF sessions are offered on Fridays during planning periods, four times a day, allowing for small group interactions and deep conversations. Prior to the meeting in which we presented to most of the staff, we had already reached 53% of certified staff and 100% of the departments. At this point, we've reached 81% of certified staff (measured by our TGIF exit tickets linked below). Data can also be seen broken down at the bottom of the spreadsheets. Our TGIF Learning Central course has become our warehouse of all things PL, TGIFs, sandboxes, and water coolers, allowing for an asynchronous option. Everything we do with our PL is centered around researched instructional practices that can be experienced and then applied in the classroom, whether that is in person, virtual, or hybrid. We continue to reflect after every session, debriefing what went well and what needs improvement. Additionally, we regularly check in with departments through leadership, PLTs, MTAC, surveys, and instructional coach meetings. I am really proud of this team and the way we continue to advocate to provide regular support for staff.

We made a massive effort to streamline our website which is the primary source of communication in a virtual world. After reaching out to other staff members, we began with a needs assessment. A website scavenger hunt was designed and given to three SIP subcommittees to review the site further, which my teammate and I analyzed with MTAC. An effective website needs to be universally accessible which means getting as many perspectives as possible. All of this analysis translated to a ton of work on the site; it's ongoing and must be updated regularly to be effective, but we are very pleased with the increase in traffic to our site. Getting literacy into students' hands took a bit of creativity and many, many classroom visits. We partnered with English classes to give booktalks and teach them about the ebook option, MackinVia. We also made it a priority to get more resources that represent our students, from the books they like to read to seeing themselves in the characters. It's all about equitable access which led to three grants, two of which we are still waiting on hearing about but one that increased our graphic novel collection extensively. We continue to support the county's efforts to become a 1:1 school with access to hybrid instruction by getting devices into students' hands, leading PL on tech tools and instructional practices for blended learning, and continuing to build our collections of accessible tutorials and resources for both staff and students.
We have overhauled the KHS website to ensure clear communication, adding a teacher support page, remote learning page, more chat boxes, clear staff website profiles, elective videos, cleaning up dead links, fixing the Career Academies pages, and continuing to grow the many library resources.
Got Books? We delivered them if students couldn't get them.
Grants: Get Graphic (13 lessons, 92% of the novels were checked out immediately), Laura Bush Foundation, Snapdragon Grant for NF

We volunteered to organize and distribute devices to students, worked the Student Help Desk and created numerous tutorials for online, 24/7 tech support. Our office hours are accessible and used by staff and students alike daily on Google Meet, and we are now maintaining device distribution at the building level, a never-ending task. As seen in Goal #1, we have provided consistent tech/instructional support through the TGIF team to maintain clear understanding of best tech and instructional practices.
