SAFETY AND SECURITY
To minimize disruptions, students will not be called out of class to retrieve forgotten items. Parents and students should communicate directly. Items can be picked up between classes or during lunch. We do not accept drop-offs for athletic gear, instruments, or afterschool items.
Elevator access is for students with a documented medical need. Pick up a pass from the Attendance Office. Only two people are allowed in the elevator at a time.
The health room is near Attendance. Students who feel sick should go to Attendance or Student Services for help. Parents will be contacted if pickup is needed. A Public Health Nurse is available by appointment through a counselor.
Fire drills are required. Students must follow directions and exit quickly using posted routes. Teachers will provide instructions.
To reduce classroom disruptions, we do not accept deliveries of flowers, balloons, gifts, or lunches. Students bringing outside food should do so at the start of the school day.
Only students with a GHHS parking permit may park on campus between 6:45 AM and 3:30 PM in designated student areas only.
Students may not use the bus lot or faculty lots (6:00 AM–4:00 PM).
Seniors get first priority, with a lottery for juniors if space remains.
Parking is not allowed at neighboring locations like Green Hope Elementary or tennis courts. Violators may be towed at their own expense.
Unauthorized parking may lead to disciplinary action, fines, and towing. GHHS is not liable for any damages.
