Graduation Requirements & Grading System
Refer to the WCPSS High School Program Planning Guide for complete details on graduation requirements, grading, and academic planning.
Course schedules are based on students’ course requests. Schedule corrections are limited and only considered for the following reasons:
Student has already earned credit for the course.
Prerequisite not met.
Incomplete schedule.
Missing graduation requirement (priority given to seniors).
Schedule correction requests must be submitted to Student Services during the designated schedule request window. All changes require administrative approval.
Students may not drop a course after the first 10 days of school unless approved by the principal. After 10 days, nonemergency drops result in a WF (Withdraw Fail) and no quality points.
Students receive 3 free official transcripts per year.
Additional transcripts: $5.00 each.
Request online via the Transcript Request Form.
Students are responsible for returning textbooks in good condition. Charges apply for lost or damaged books. Students with outstanding debt may be restricted from attending prom or school-sponsored events.
If you have concerns about a specific class, your first point of contact should be the classroom teacher.
