Bell Schedules
Class Transitions & Hall Procedures
To support a safe, orderly, and focused learning environment, Green Hope High School has established the following expectations regarding student transitions and movement during the school day:
Students are provided 6 minutes between classes to travel to their next scheduled class. Restroom and water breaks are expected to occur during this transition time.
To minimize disruptions, restroom passes are not issued during the first or last 10 minutes of any class period.
Upon arrival to class, students are expected to store their cell phones in the teacher-designated location and begin class promptly.
A student is considered tardy if they are not seated and prepared for instruction when the bell rings.
Elevator Access
Use of the school elevator is limited to students with a documented medical need. Students must display a valid elevator pass issued by the Attendance Office to use the elevator during school hours.
Hall Pass Protocol
To ensure student safety and accountability:
Students must have a visible pass when outside of the classroom during instructional time.
Passes are not issued during the first or last 10 minutes of class.
Students must sign out and back in on the classroom tracking log when leaving and returning to class.
Cell phones are to remain in the classroom.
These expectations are designed to maximize instructional time, minimize unnecessary disruptions, and promote a culture of responsibility and preparedness.
