About

Dear Hard-working Educators,

If you've ever spent countless hours creating lessons, designing handouts, putting together presentations, searching for quality digital resources, and more (all with the intent to provide students with the best learning experiences possible), then this site is for you! Stop reinventing the wheel! Let's gather all our favorite and valuable teaching materials in one site. Right here! We can all benefit through this wonderful collaborative effort!

How can you participate?

1. Lurker - Search and "borrow" ideas from documents, links, presentations, etc. from this site. If you use or edit any materials from this site, the rules are few and simple, but PLEASE follow them!

  • Give credit to the original owner of the material! For example, include something like this at the bottom of your new handout, presentation, etc.: This slideshow was originally created by ________________ and edited by me, _________________.

  • Help publicize the site using social media! Site URL: bitly.com/educatecollaboratesite Hashtag: #educatecollaborate

2. Official Member - Please join! Do your part! If you use a lesson idea, link, resource, etc., then be sure to pay it forward and share one of your favorites so others can benefit, too!

  • Fill out the form so you can get editing rights to the site! http://bitly.com/educatecollaborateform

  • You will be notified via e-mail with the link to the site so you can begin posting!

  • All documents, presentations, etc. posted here should be your original work and will enter the public domain. (Please don't steal other people's work or pass off their intellectual property as your own!)

  • For lessons, please be sure to include the learning standard(s) being addressed. Here's a lesson plan template if you'd like to use it: Lesson Plan Template

Happy educating and collaborating!

Sincerely,

Karen D'Elia
