Everyone embraced their mistakes and turned them into happy accidents in this club meeting. It was cheerful and filled with holiday spirit, everyone worked diligently and produced some beautiful Bob-Ross inspired paintings.
During this workshop we celebrated the season of the witch by carving intricate and interesting designs into pumpkins. Everyone had so much fun and the room was littered with good energy and shared laughs.
During this months Art Club meeting, we had a wonderful little introductory activity for club members to participate in. Attendees were advised to design name tags to bring to future meetings. Everyone had lovely designs and the club is filled with such talent.
For the October workshop, Art Club put on a pumpkin carving party! The pumpkins turned out great. Thanks so much to everyone who attended!
Lunch Meeting Wednesday, October 17
In this month's Art Club lunch meeting, we focused on brainstorming ideas for future workshops, activities, and events. Thanks everyone for the great input! Be sure to talk to an NAHS officer if you have more ideas in the future.
For our November workshop, we experimented with Shibori, a technique using indigo dye, to start the process of making the club shirts. At the next workshop in December, we explored screen-printing to get the art club design on the t shirts. Thanks Sarah for the awesome design! The shirts turned out fantastic!
