Relief Sculpture

Sculpture is one of the facinating visual arts.  Students investigate this type of art in three dimensions: Length, Width and Depth (3D).  While continuing with learning the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, these developing artists will learn terminology and techniques that all artists apply. 

Grading

60%  Assessments: Studio Projects ( 4-5 Major Projects / Artworks to complete) & Portfolio (Daily Drawing Warm-ups and Sketches)

40%   Class Participation: (Set Up, Individual and Group Work, Class Discussions and Room Clean Up)  "Home Work": Written Assignments (Elements of Art, Principles of Design, Vocabulary & Art History Notes)


10 Point Grading Scale:

A: 90-100

B: 80-89

C: 70-79

D: 60-69

F: < 0
