College Accounting I and II curriculum incorporates industry-level skills and programs including:
Extensive use of spreadsheets and Google Suite
Utilization of industry resources such as the Securities and Exchange Commission website, Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, etc.
QuickBooks Training (College Accounting II)
Accounting program is partnered with Future Business Leaders of America to participate in local, state, and national-level competitions and to assist with student-run school enterprise projects (fundraising, school store, etc.)
Accounting students organize a business career day and help the growth of the Wayne Business Alumni Network on LinkedIn.
