The Burb Arts Show is our annual competition with other Des Moines area schools to show off all the hard work and talent from our students here at Northwest Waukee High School & past events as WHS.

One of the area's fastest-growing and most exciting summer events! Two concerts, 100+ artists, and family fun!

The Waukee Area Arts Council will award two $1000 scholarships to Waukee Seniors of the 2023 graduating class. Scholarships will be awarded to students in the studio arts or the performing arts.

Students submit a portfolio of 8 digital images of their work and an artist statement. These portfolios will be judged by college professors and working artists. The top 20% in each class will be selected as that class's All State Art Team, and will be honored at an awards ceremony at the Des Moines Art Festival.

The Student Art Exhibition is designed to encourage children to pursue their passion for the visual arts, and to recognize student and teacher achievements and artistic talent.

The Clive Public Art Advisory Commission (PAAC) invites all art classes of the school districts serving Clive students (public and private) to participate in the “Kids for Art in Clive” Exhibition.  Ask me for more details if interested!

The nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens!

Each year U.S. House of Representatives Members honor one high school student from their districts by selecting a piece of artwork for inclusion in an exhibit at the U.S. Capitol.
