HOW DO YOU BECOME AN IMPOSTOR?

A Normal Crewmate 'mongus will turn into an Impostor if the Trill (discovered by Sir Dr. Mr. Jacob Read) turns red and sends murderous/extreme ideas into the subjects brain.

THE FIRST RECORDED IMPOSTOR(S)

The Impostor Syndrome was first recorded in the Skeld Scrolls Document #3 (not yet public) in which it describes something snapping in Red after conflict with Lime and filling him with extreme murderous tendencies. When the Trill becomes active it will send extreme thoughts into the crewmate's brain - usually murderous but can also lead to extreme racism, sexism, and other aggressive ideas which drive the Impostor to go on a rampage.

SIDE EFFECTS

When an Among Us has impostor syndrome they will be subject to side effects that include -

Being Sus
Intense Lying sessions
Stopping at nothing until nothing remains
Turning off the lights*

Side Note - We have no idea why but lights and Impostor go together like ham and cheese...

In extreme cases, they have the ability to shapeshift; which is the power to wear other crewmates' skin

VENTING

Impostors, although filled with a murderous rage, are very creative in their means in which they brutally murder you. They have a strange obsessions with vents and love to hide in them until the right moment.

Normally if you see someone vent it would be obvious the they indeed wanted to kill you but time are changing...
